WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY ?
Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the
principal that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every
part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on
these reflexes, tension can be relieved, circulation improved, and
natural functions of the body restored.
Benefits
In my practice I usually combine exercise sessions with Reflexology so
that I can improve the circulation and decrease the tension placed on
the body creating a more balanced workout. I find this method
particularly helpful for clients with back, shoulder and knee
difficulties because of the limited range of motion that they
experience.
Reflexology, as a method of relaxation, can be beneficial for Migraine
headache sufferers. Anyone of us can have added stress or tension in our
life which can lead to digestive disorders such as constipation or
diarrhea - or other disorders - reflexology can help alleviate these
symptoms and normalize body functions.
There are many modalities in which a person can find for the purpose of
relaxation and self healing. Reflexology is a very powerful method and,
in my practice, has proven to be an excellent treatment for every one of
my clients.
